Barrel saunas delivered to Belfast
Coastal and damp
Belfast sits at the head of the Lough with hills behind, so air is mild and often damp. A sauna offers a dry heat to balance it, and the compact barrel is easy to shelter from the wind.
Gardens on the Lough shore
North Down towns like Holywood and Bangor have sea-facing gardens, and the suburbs of Lisburn and Dundonald have generous plots. A panoramic glass back wall suits a view over the water.
A level slab base is enough; no concrete foundation.
Delivery and assembly in Belfast
The kit is delivered by lorry with a tail-lift to the kerb or drive, about a week after the 4 to 6 week production. Two adults assemble it in around two days. Our crew can do it from £990.
Prices exclude UK VAT; import VAT and any customs charges are paid by the buyer on delivery.
Cold swims and warm cabins
Lough and sea swimming are very popular around Belfast, and a sauna at home makes the cold dip easier to enjoy. Many customers pair a wood-fired stove with a short, hot session, then a swim, then a second round.
If you prefer something simpler, the electric stove heats up quickly and is easy to control.
Placing the sauna on the plot
Belfast gardens range from compact terrace yards to long suburban lawns that rise towards the hills. Choose a firm, level spot, allow room to walk around the cabin and keep the stove side clear of fences.
If the garden is exposed to the wind off the Lough, a hedge or fence on the windward side makes a big difference to comfort.
Local rules
Planning in Northern Ireland is dealt with by local councils. Check with Belfast City Council or your district council before ordering.
Questions
Do you deliver to Northern Ireland?
Yes. Message us your postcode and we will confirm the details.
Can the sauna cope with sea wind in Holywood or Bangor?
Yes, it is solid spruce on a firm base. Placing it behind a fence or hedge adds comfort.

Rules vary. Ask your council planning office.
