Barrel sauna kit delivered to Cardiff

Wet Welsh weather

South Wales gets plenty of rain from the Atlantic, with mild but unsettled winters. A warm timber room at the bottom of the garden is welcome on a drizzly evening, and the barrel roof sheds water well.

Valleys, coast and city

Cardiff has Victorian terraces with long thin gardens, family homes in Llandaff and Whitchurch, and coastal places like Penarth. The compact 2 m barrel is ideal for narrow plots, while the Valleys towns often have bigger, sloping gardens that need a levelled base.

Delivery and assembly in Cardiff

One pallet arrives by lorry with a tail-lift, 4 to 6 weeks after you order plus around a week for delivery. Two adults can build it in about two days following the instructions. Our crew assembles from £990 if you prefer.

Prices exclude UK VAT; import VAT and any customs charges are paid by the buyer on delivery.

Coast and valley living

Whether you are by the Bay, near Penarth Marina or higher in the valleys, the sauna cabin works the same way: a firm base, space for the flue and a clear patch for the lorry to stop.

Many South Wales gardens slope, so we usually recommend a small levelled terrace. It is a weekend job with slabs and a spirit level.

Rain and the rest of the week

South Wales sees many wet days, so a porch or small terrace by the door is a useful extra. It gives you somewhere dry to hang towels and wet coats, and a spot to sit and cool down.

Keep the vents adjustable and open them after each session so the timber dries out properly.

Welsh planning

Planning is handled locally in Wales. Ask Cardiff Council or your county council whether a garden building of this size needs permission.
