Barrel sauna kit delivered to Cambridge

Big skies, dry cold

Cambridgeshire is one of the driest, flattest parts of the country. Winter can be bitter when the wind comes straight across the Fens, and a thick-walled cabin is a comfort. The 44 mm spruce keeps heat in and the cylinder shape lets the wind slide past.

A hedge or fence on the windward side adds comfort.

Flat plots and easy bases

Flat gardens make laying a slab base straightforward. Cambridge terraced streets have small yards, ideal for the 2 m barrel, and villages around Histon, Ely and Huntingdon have wide lawns for the 3 m barrel or a Quadro.

A glass back wall faces a wide open view when your plot backs onto fields.

Delivery and assembly in Cambridge

The pallet comes by lorry with a tail-lift. Making takes 4 to 6 weeks, then about a week to reach you. Narrow historic streets can limit lorry access, so share your address early. Two adults assemble in about two days, or our crew does it from £990.

Prices exclude UK VAT; import VAT and any customs charges are paid by the buyer on delivery.

Quiet gardens and cycling streets

Cambridge is a city of bicycles, narrow lanes and walled gardens. The kit parts are carried by hand, so a bicycle passage or a side gate is usually enough, provided it is wide enough for the longest piece. Measure it before you order and send us the figure.

After a long ride along the Cam or the Fen edge, a sauna is a good way to ease tired legs. Keep a towel and water inside and stay hydrated.

Permission

Cambridge has many conservation areas. Ask Cambridge City Council or your district council about garden buildings before you order.
